COLLEGE

UPDATE

Term 2: Week 5

WELCOME TO WEEK 5!

LAST WEEK (4)

  • We recognised and acknowledged our Mother’s last week on Tuesday at our first Mother’s Day Liturgy and morning tea. It was a wonderful opportunity to share in this beautiful celebration with our families.
  • Enrolment offers for Year 7 students in 2025 have been emailed to families. We look forward to welcoming these students and their families next year.

THIS WEEK (5)

  • A reminder that students should enter and exit the College through the walkway connecting A block to the Teepe. Using the school car parks (SGM & SMCC) is only accessible to those walking bikes and scooters.
  • We are halfway through the school term. Students and families must access the assessment calendars to ensure they are meeting deadlines. Additionally, we encourage families to check in with their child/ren about school/life balance.
  • We invite parents/carers to reach out to your child/ren’s teachers for support or updates about their engagement in learning at this point in the term. It is a great time to put support in place should it be necessary to ensure learning is happening.
  • This term has been incredibly busy already! Thank you to all students involved in the events and activities across the College. Our upcoming College Open Night is a great opportunity for students to support our College and escort prospective families around our facilities.
  • The St Mary's community is invited to join our team at the 7 Cairns Running Festival on Sunday, 14 July. This community event offers 2km, 5km, 10km, 21.1km and 42.2km run and walk events. Join the St Mary's team at registration for 10% off your entry fee!
