The Foundation students have been learning about variations in the pitch of high and low sounds. In doing so, they have been learning to play a range of basic tunes on the chime bars, a melodic percussion instrument. Rehearsing songs and short instrumental pieces and exploring contrasting sounds supports their development to match pitch when singing too. Here are some pictures of the Foundation C students in action.
