On Friday, May 3rd, St. Brendan's hosted a very exciting Cross Country event, and it's with immense gratitude that I extend my thanks to everyone involved in making it a resounding success.
Great appreciation goes out to the dedicated teachers and staff at St. Brendan's. Your unwavering support and willingness to go above and beyond, always saying "of course Tess," truly make my role smoother.
A huge shout out to the incredible parent and grandparent helpers who lent their time and energy to ensure the event ran seamlessly. Trevor, Fiona, Bella, Michelle, Sarah, Brooke, Anthony, Tanya, Jess, Kelly, and Rob – your presence and encouragement were invaluable. Without you, we would have been lost little bunnies!
Special recognition goes to our Year 5/6 hares, who tirelessly circled the course, guiding and motivating our younger students. Your leadership and enthusiasm set a shining example for all.
And finally to the students of St. Brendan's, thank you for your enthusiastic participation. Your dedication and resilience, regardless of your final standings, were truly inspiring. Remember, it's the effort and spirit you put forth that matter most.
For those advancing to the next round at Ballam Park on Friday, May 17th, in the U8/9, U10, U11, and U12/13 categories, congratulations! Details will be communicated via Operoo to those who placed in the top 8.
Once again, a massive thank you to the entire St. Brendan's community for your unwavering support and participation. I couldn't be prouder of our collective effort and spirit. Here's to many more successful events in the future!
Thanks to Mrs Greenland for creating this very fun video of the afternoon!
On Wednesday, May 1st, thirty of our dedicated St Brendan's students participated in the field events at Ballam Park. Their hard work and determination paid off remarkably well, as we proudly secured SIX first-place finishes, along with 4-second fourth positions.
It was a HUGE day for us all. Thank you to the students for showing respect and support towards each other throughout the event.
A huge congratulations to our first placed participants who are now set to progress to the next stage - The division level.

A big thank you goes out to Greg and Rochelle for their time and dedication in making the session enjoyable and educational for everyone involved. If you're intrigued by the excitement of hockey, we encourage you to join us at Mornington Falcons for a session and experience the thrill firsthand!
