Kytons Fundraiser

 

Thank you to those that have ordered Kytons goods which will be delivered to your eldest child in their classroom just before home time on Wednesday 2nd July. If you have a large order you may need to assist your child with their load.

P&F Meeting

P&F met on Friday 20th June and discussed possible fundraising and social events. All parents are invited to these meetings which also have an update about school life from the Principal. The next meeting will be in Term 3.

Sport & Campus News 

Campus Pedal Prix 

 

Term 2 has been an exciting time for Campus Tornadoes Pedal Prix team with races held 17th May and 15th June.

 

This year we saw our biggest ever team, with 6 trikes, join nearly 200 teams at The Bend Motorsport Park. It was first race experiences for Ben, Evan, Zac and Ned, joining other Campus members and old scholars. Congratulations to Old Scholar Tobi P for receiving the Copyworld fastest lap for U16, as well as our 2 senior teams 'Wild One', 2nd place U16 and 'Dominator', 3rd place Open Mixed. 

 

The cold wet weather could not dampen the enthusiasm of our riders for Race 3 at Victoria Park Raceway. Our Year 5/6 students Ben, Evan, Zac, Ned, Emilie and Charlize battled hard in a fast paced race, showing amazing persistence and grit to complete the 7 hour race in 'Stinger' and 'Rocket' our primary school teams. It was wonderful to see the improvements in speed and endurance as we reached the half way point of our season. 'Dominator' fought hard to achieve 2nd place in the Open Mixed category.  Our next race returns to The Bend Motorsport Park in August.
