Inverell Careers Expo
Students from Years 9, 10, 11 and 12 attended the Inverell Careers Expo, at the Inverell Town Hall. This exciting event brought together universities, training providers, local employers, and service organisations from across the region and beyond.
Students had the opportunity to explore a wide variety of post-school pathways, including apprenticeships, university courses, TAFE programs, and local employment options. Exhibitors provided valuable information, advice and hands-on demonstrations, giving students a clearer understanding of the opportunities available to them.
For many, the expo was a chance to ask questions directly to industry professionals, pick up brochures, freebies and even start thinking about subject selections or early entry applications. It was especially helpful for our senior students preparing for life after school, and a fantastic opportunity for younger students to begin exploring their interests.
Thank you to the Inverell Shire Council team for organising, and the exhibitors and staff who helped make the day a success. Events like this play a key role in helping our students feel confident and informed as they consider their future careers.
