In Prep Vernon, we have been learning about Seeking Help. This week we learnt to identify who we can go to for help and which people we can share our good times with.

SWPBS 

As we are getting towards the end of term, everyone is keeping a careful eye on the Gugu sticker reward chart in the hub. We are currently just 1 point away from reaching our Level 3 reward, which is a special lunch at school. There is still the possibility we might reach Level 4 before the end of term, which is a Disco! With only 2 weeks to go, this would be an amazing outcome, so lets all do our best to display our expected behaviours and demonstrate our School Values to try to reach that goal! Whichever reward we reach, our Reward Day will be the Wednesday of week 10.

The SWPBS team have recently begun some behind-the-scenes training to up-skill our staff in Classroom Systems. This 10 module course will help us develop a more consistent approach to the way we all create positive learning environments, based around 8 Effective Teaching & Learning Practices (ETLPs). As we share this learning with all staff over the coming months, this will help to strengthen what is already a great learning culture at Spring Gully.

Victorian Premiers' Reading Challenge
