Foundation (Prep-Year 2)

Prep A have been enjoying our new classroom this term. We think we have the best view of the school because we can watch the construction of our new playground. It has been such an exciting time so we have been doing lots of writing about what we can see outside our window. We are learning to label, draw pictures, trace words and co-create sentences about what we can see. We are learning lots of new language like construction, workers, tools, build and our favourite, excavator!

Lower Primary (Years 3-4)

Student have been changing classroom grouped with different students to take part in our phonics program ‘Little Learners Love Literacy.’ The grade 3/4’s have also just completed our final fitness session where we have been lucky to have tennis coaches, from Tennis Victoria, teach us how to hit a tennis ball.

Upper Primary (Years 5-6)

Upper Primary students have been practicing handing over money to pay for an item at the classroom shop. Students enjoyed joining together for a year-level shop, buying items from one another. They have been writing topic words and describing words about night and day and creating complete sentences. Students have been learning that it takes the Earth 365 days, 1 full year to complete one revolution of the Sun.
