BVPS Girls Football Report

On Wednesday 23 August, Ben Venue girls football team played Warialda in the next round of the PSSA Knockout competition. 

The wind played havoc with the ball and the girl's fitness, which showed in the first half. The team stepped up and played hard in the second half, channeling their inner Matildas, winning the 50/50 balls.

Being three corners down, Ben Venue then scored in the last 10 minutes to be 1- 0 victors. Congratulations to all the girls and they should be very proud of their sportsmanship. 

Next round will be against the winners of Tamworth Public School and Gunnedah Public School. Best wishes to the girls!
