Athletics Carnival

I am excited to share the highlights of our Athletics Carnival held last Monday at the Coburg Athletics Track. This remarkable event brought our school community together in a celebration of physical activity and achievement. I extend my gratitude to all staff and parent volunteers whose dedication and support played a significant role in making this day a success.

The day was not just about races and competitions; it was also about the collective effort that goes into creating memorable experiences for our students. With parents and teachers working hand in hand, we transformed the track into a vibrant place of excitement and teamwork.

The Athletics Carnival showed Newlands' commitment to promoting physical activity and overall well-being among our students. It was great to see the enthusiasm with which they participated in various events, pushing their limits and demonstrating sportsmanship throughout. Their smiles and victorious moments were a true reflection of the spirit of the day.

One of the most enjoyable moments of the Carnival was the teachers/parents' race. I am thankful to all who participated. Your involvement not only added extra excitement but also set a fantastic example for our students. Your participation motivated them to strive for an active and healthy lifestyle as well.

Beyond the excitement of the activities, the Athletics Carnival was a chance for students, parents, and teachers to connect outside the classroom, strengthening the bonds that make our school a special place.
