What can we improve on this week:

                     Actions

Remember to put fruit and veggie peels/scraps in the caddy outside

Our compost and worms will love them!!!

Working with Ms Belinda on improving paper recycling in classrooms

Some unsafe behaviour on the adventure playground- climbing between spaces, jumping off high,

Remind everyone that we all need to follow the expectations and keep each other safe so everyone can enjoy the play space.

Call the teacher on yard duty if you need help.

Bringing water in the sand pit

Look after the sand pit and keep it clean,  play safe and enjoy the space

Soccer arguments and unsportsmanlike behaviour- calling people names

Using another language to call others inappropriate words

Everyone that plays soccer is responsible for making sure the game is fair and fun. Call out  any unacceptable behaviour and the students that are not following the rules will not be included in the game- call the teacher and they will be written in the yard book - exit off the yard.

SRC Representative ACTIONS for this week

School Leaders and SRC  will be looking out for students ‘Caught Being Good’.

They will  be nominating students who are responsible, respectful and ready to learn.

Discuss what these qualities look like.

Respectful - listening, waiting turn, walking through corridor quietly, greeting/speaking to people politely

Responsible - throwing rubbish in the bin, picking up rubbish, returning sports equipment, helping others, kindness

Ready to Learn - listening to the speaker, having materials ready for learning, being on time in class or at school.
