On a scale of 1-10, how has our school been learning this week?
PREP- 8 working well in writing and spelling new words
1/2AO- 8 finishing our work and
1/2RT- no class meeting
1/2MB-no class meeting
3/4TR- 8 some people remember what to bring to school and some don't
following instructions
3/4MG- 8 Art for the Art show fun & everybody did a good job
5/6FA- 8 working well in writing
5/6BOC- 10- we have been learning about the water cycle and preparing for the art show

PREP-8 looking after our things and packing up
1/2AO- 8 listening and working together
1/2RT- no class meeting
1/2MB- no class meeting
3/4TR- 7 We all should be following instructions and not having to be told again
3/4MG- 7 Focusing & listening - people are not focusing and not tracking the speaker, some students need to be reminded about manners and respect
5/6FA- 9 cooperating and listening to the speaker
5/6BOC- 10- collaborating on our posters
Learning and events in our school this week:
In year 5/6 we have been learning about the water cycle and designed an information poster, Maths challenges and math buddies and conversion
In year 3/4 we have been learning about time, information reports, art show individual piece, ,
In Year 1/2 we have been learning about money in math, light and sound and reading stories from book week
In Prep we play rhyming bingo, reading and counting

Some unsafe behaviour on the adventure playground- climbing between spaces, jumping off high,
| Remind everyone that we all need to follow the expectations and keep each other safe so everyone can enjoy the play space. Call the teacher on yard duty if you need help.

Bringing water in the sand pit | Look after the sand pit and keep it clean, play safe and enjoy the space | |
Soccer arguments and unsportsmanlike behaviour- calling people names Using another language to call others inappropriate words
| Everyone that plays soccer is responsible for making sure the game is fair and fun. Call out any unacceptable behaviour and the students that are not following the rules will not be included in the game- call the teacher and they will be written in the yard book - exit off the yard.

SRC Representative ACTIONS for this week
School Leaders and SRC will be looking out for students ‘Caught Being Good’.
They will be nominating students who are responsible, respectful and ready to learn.
Discuss what these qualities look like.
Respectful - listening, waiting turn, walking through corridor quietly, greeting/speaking to people politely
Responsible - throwing rubbish in the bin, picking up rubbish, returning sports equipment, helping others, kindness
Ready to Learn - listening to the speaker, having materials ready for learning, being on time in class or at school.
