Deputy Principal's Report

As we step into the final term of this academic year, I extend a warm welcome back to school to each and every one of you.

World Teacher's Day

Today we are excited to celebrate a day that holds immense significance in our hearts – World Teacher's Day! This day, observed globally on October 5th, is an opportunity for us to express our gratitude and appreciation for the tireless dedication of the St Patrick's staff who play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our students.

World Teacher's Day is a day to recognise and celebrate the incredible contributions that teachers and school staff make to society. It is a time to reflect on the impact they have on the lives of students, both academically and personally. The St Patrick's staff inspire, support, and guide our children, instilling in them not only knowledge but also essential life skills and values.

Arriving at School on Time

Just a reminder to families the importance of students arriving at or before 8:45am. Arriving at school on time is a valuable life skill that can significantly impact a student's academic success and overall well-being. If your child arrives after 9.00am, please sign them in at the office.

Operoo

Please remember to make changes on Operoo if you have changed your details (address, email, phone number), if your emergency contact's details have changed or if you need to update your child's medical information.

Illness

I'd like to emphasise the importance of keeping our school community safe and healthy. With the ongoing challenges posed by various illnesses, it's crucial that we all do our part to protect one another.

One of the most effective ways to prevent the spread of illness within our school is by ensuring that children who are unwell stay home until they are fully recovered. If your child is unwell, please vkeep them home. In the event of an absence, please notify the school office.

As we embark on this final leg of the school year, let us remember that every day is a chance to learn, grow, and make the most of your child's educational journey together. One way to do this is by chatting about the positive things which have taken place throughout the school day.

Have a wonderful week,
