Old Collegians' Careers Evening
Dear Parents/Carers,
You and your sons are warmly invited to attend our Mazenod Old Collegians’ Careers Mentoring Night on Monday 11th September, at 7pm upstairs in the O’Rourke Complex.
The evening will host individual tables where we will have our Mazenod College Old Collegians from specific professions/trades in attendance, and aims to provide your son with the opportunity to speak with them about what is involved in their chosen careers/professions/trades, etc. It will be informal, and you and your families will be able to speak to our Old Boys about the reality of working in these chosen areas.
You are asked to arrive at 6.45pm, so that we may commence promptly by 7pm. The evening will conclude by 8.30pm. You are welcome to stay as long or as little as you like.
Please note that your son’s subject selections will have been submitted by this date. This evening is not about providing advice about subject selections. This evening is about giving you and your son the opportunity to speak with our Old Collegians about what is involved in their chosen career/trade/profession, etc.

- Car Industries: mechanics, etc.
- Army/Aircraft
- Health
- Trades/Construction
- Hospitality
- Business/Corporates/Private Businesses
- Information Technology
- Architecture/Building/Engineering
- Emergency Services: Victoria Police, Fire Officers, Paramedics.
