Congratulations to Joshua Goh (Year 11) on being selected as a recipient of the prestigious Deakin Young Influencer Award! 🎉 This award, which includes a $5000 scholarship, recognises high-achieving and motivated Year 11 students who demonstrate outstanding community leadership, advocacy for change, and forward-thinking values.

Italy Study Tour

Our students on the Italy Study Tour have embraced a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to immerse themselves in Italian culture, history, and daily life. Hosted by families from Liceo Vivona in Rome, they’ve been welcomed into Italian daily life, attending classes alongside their peers and learning about the differences in education systems.

Their days have been filled with exploration of iconic landmarks like the Vatican, Pantheon, and Fontana di Trevi, with each location brought to life through student-led presentations. They even had the incredible opportunity to witness Pope Francis at a General Audience in St. Peter’s Square.

Each step of the way, they’re deepening their understanding of Italy’s history, art, and culture, while fostering connections with their hosts and peers. This study tour offers not just sightseeing but an unforgettable lesson in global citizenship and cultural exchange.

ACC Volleyball

Last Thursday afternoon Mazenod had eight ACC teams in Grand Finals.
