Requirements for the start of the year

Years 1-6 Stationery

Year 3/4 and 5/6 classes - Students will need to bring an empty, named pencil case on the first day of school. The pencil case should be large enough to fit a 30cm school ruler. Pens, pencils, glue sticks etc will then be sent home in students' pencil cases on the first day to be labelled. Books will be labelled and covers applied in class.

Year 1/2 classes - Books and book covers will be distributed on the first day of school and sent home with a letter to explain how books are to be labelled. Pens, pencils, gluesticks etc will remain at school as class sets. (No pencil cases are required until Year 3.)

(Foundation classes - Refer to page 2 of this newsletter.)

Hats

Hats are compulsory for Term 1. Please ensure your child's hat is clearly named and in good condition as they do deteriorate over time and with washing etc. New hats can be purchased from the uniform supplier on Campus (see below for opening times). Hats can be ordered online and will be sent to our Front Office to be delivered to your child, or older children can be sent with correct money to purchase a hat after school on Mondays or before school on Wednesdays.

School Rooms for 2025

Here is a map of the layout of the School for this year.

First Aid Room Linen Helpers

The First Aid Room linen needs to be washed weekly and we are looking for some extra volunteers to collect the linen, wash it and return it to school. If we have 10 volunteers, each person only needs to do this once each term. Please email the school on pilgrim@pilgrim.sa.edu.au or phone 8270 3033 to offer your help.
