Welcome to our New Students

Welcome to our new students and their families commencing at Pilgrim School in 2025.

Our new Foundation students starting Term 1 include: Emilia, Zoey, Hannah, Chace, Eleanor, Mariela, Cyrus, Jasiri, Mckenna, Harriet, Ava, Erik, Ruthie, Isla, Grace and Mili. Welcome also to Mordy, Leo and Julie in Year 1; Ruby in Year 2; and Zariah who will joining us in Year 3 this year.

We pray rich blessings on you all as you start at Pilgrim, that you soon feel like you really belong here, can explore in your learning and flourish in who you are.

First Day Morning Tea

All parents are welcome to join us for morning tea in the Oasis Kitchen on Tuesday 28th January after you have dropped your child/ren at their classrooms. We would love to catch up with you on this first day of school!

Compass App

With our move to Compass this year, we will soon send each parent/caregiver details of how to set up and log in to the Compass App and portal.

When you receive that information please set this up as soon as possible as we will be using this for student absences, contacting families, student academic reports, school photo orders and excursion consents.

We will no longer use the Sentral for Parents App and you will no longer be able to sign into it, so it can now be deleted from your phone.

Foundation Families Meet the Teacher

All Foundation families are invited to come to school on Thursday 23rd January 3:00-4:00pm to say hello to their class teachers and see their classroom set up ahead of the first day of school the following week.

Books, bookcover sheets and instructions will be provided at that time. (Anyone not able to come in that day will receive their stationery on the first day of school.) Parents are asked to please apply the covers as per the instructions that will be provided and bring covered, labelled books to school no later than the first day of Week 2 (ie by Monday 3rd February).

Kiss & Drop

Pilgrim School's Kiss & Drop zone is located next to our school on Campus Drive and is supervised each afternoon 3.10-3.30pm. Children remaining after this time will be taken to the Front Office for collection by parents.

For existing parents who have been using the Kiss & Drop in the Staff Carpark, please note this will only be supervised until 3.20pm and students will then be taken to Pilgrim School's regular Kiss & Drop zone for collection.

Please remember to remain in your car and keep moving in the Kiss & Drop line so that you can collect your child at the end near the large shelter. We would appreciate you letting others who are collecting your child (eg grandparents or other relatives/friends) know this information too.
