Dear Parents and Carers
We warmly welcome you back to the 2025 school year. I hope the holidays were a peaceful and relaxing time for all your families.
It has been a smooth and calm start to the year and our teachers are happy to report that their students are settling in well and are quickly adjusting and getting used to their new classes, teachers and routines.
A huge thank you to all our families who booked their child in for the Start of Year Assessments in January. It was a wonderful opportunity for our teachers to meet and get to know their students on a one to one basis, and complete some literacy and numeracy assessments which will enable them to plan the learning for Term 1. These assessments give us valuable information about your child’s learning needs and teachers get to know exactly what they need to focus on.
We have now completed a full week of Term One and our students have been learning about the high expectations at St Anthony’s, learning about their classmates and themselves, and learning valuable tools to help them navigate their day at school. We would like every child to feel known and to flourish at school, so if there is anything you need assistance with, please do not hesitate to contact your child’s teacher.
Have a wonderful weekend.
Kind regards
Glennis Kerr
