P&C - Parents and Citizens Association 

Our first P&C meeting on Monday 19 February 2024 was a great success with 13 people joining the meeting on Microsoft Teams.  Head Students Jake and Kayla provided some great feedback and I think there’s going to be a great connection between the Student Council, Principal Jonathan Arnott and P&C in 2024! 

The P&C are going to donate $150 per common room (6 in total) so the kids can organise the purchase of kitchen appliances like an air fryer, toastie maker etc.  Each common room dorm will have to work out what they would like, then let the Student Councillors know.  We would really like to get this happening as soon as possible, so have a chat with your child about what they would like to have in their common room area.

We discussed the Parent Night at the meeting - this has traditionally been organised by Year 11 parents.  This year the Year 11/12 Ball is on Saturday, 31 August 2024 at the Parmelia Hilton and while the Ball is on, the parents have dinner/drinks at a venue nearby.  Last year we had it at the Metro Bar and Bistro.  If you’re a Year 11 parent and feel like you could organise this (with the help from Year 12 parents) then please join in on the next meeting.
