Principal's Report
Dear Collingwood College,
As the year's pages turn to the last chapter, we bring you the final Collingwood College newsletter for 2023, reflecting on the past months, I am filled with appreciation for the remarkable efforts and achievements of our college community.
Seeing our students reach new heights, particularly our Year 6 and Year 12 graduates, has been a highlight. I'm confident in knowing they have a bright and promising future – that said, be sure to check out the final edition of the Wurun Bulletin that highlights our ‘Year 12’s Pathways to Success’.
As we tie up the year, I want to say a huge thanks to EVERYONE!. This year wouldn't have been the same without the energy of our students, the dedication of our staff, and the support from our amazing families. You've all played a part in making Collingwood the place we love. As we are preparing for a new year, we wave goodbye to some of our cherished team members. Ken Watson, Tim Arundell, and Stephanie Woodruff who step into retirement. We wish Penny Marangos, Mel Truman and Pairoj Pommer all the best with future careers. While we acknowledge that Emma Kefford, Tom O’Connell, Katie McLachlan, John Gioskis and Vince Vignuoli are taking well-earned leave. Annalise Perichon will be leaving us next year for a new job at FNPS.
A special mention to our incredible staff for all the support in 2023. It's been a big year, with a school review completed in Term 4!. This sets us up for an even brighter future for Collingwood, which includes CAS and Wurun Senior College.
Can't wait to see you all again in 2024. Until then, have a wonderful holiday break, and take the time to make some memories with those you love.
