We are delighted to share some exciting news with you all! Starting this semester, we will be implementing the new K-6 English syllabus designed to enhance learning experiences and empower our students with essential language skills.

Key Highlights of the New English Syllabus:

• Enhanced Communication Skills: The new syllabus places a strong emphasis on developing students' communication abilities in speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
• Integration of Technology: We will be incorporating innovative technology tools and platforms to enrich classroom activities and assessments, preparing our students for success in the digital age.
• Diverse Text Selection: Students will have the opportunity to explore a wider range of texts representing diverse voices, cultures, and perspectives, fostering inclusivity and cultural appreciation.
• Critical Thinking and Analysis: The syllabus encourages students to engage in critical thinking and analytical exercises, empowering them to interpret and evaluate texts with depth and insight.

How Parents Can Get Involved: 

During the year we will be highlighting key aspects of learning which we have focused on as a staff and within our classrooms. There will be future at home activities and focuses presented throughout the year for parents to engage in.

We are confident that the implementation of the new English Curriculum will contribute to the continued growth and success of our students.
