Dear Parents and Carers,

Naplan

Over the past two weeks our Yr 3 and 5 students have been involved in Naplan testing. Thank you to Larissa and the Yr 3 and 5 teachers for their coordination  of these tests.

At St Bedes' we do not teach to the test but provide examples of what the testing is like so that the students are prepared to undertake the various tests. Parents should receive their child's results during Term 2. Once you receive the results and have any questions please see your child's teacher.

STEM

Tomorrow Mrs Scardilli has organised for our STEM leaders and team to attend the Grand Prix, where they will be involved in exploring a variety of STEM activities, (they will also get to view some of the practice round).  We hope they have an amazing day.

Catholic Education Week

Last week we celebrated Catholic Education Week. The theme this year across the Melbourne Archdiocese  was ‘Light of Christ’  drawn from the Strategic Plan MACS 2030: Forming Lives to Enrich the World. It was an opportunity for all Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of Melbourne to celebrate their Catholic identity, the pivotal role they play within their local community and the strength of the sector.  It is important that we find ways to bring ‘light and hope’ to all within our community. Showing others kindness, respect and welcome brings ‘light and hope’.

Easter Raffle

Year 6 Jackets

An addition to the Yr 6 uniform this year is the bomber jacket. I think you will agree it looks great
