Desert Rose Playgroup 

Autumn Good morning, Summer Goodnight

What a wonderful term at the Desert Rose Playgroup we have had!

We've baked buns, sung songs of Summer and welcomed the cool change of Autumn in our morning circles. We've heard tales of dancing mermaids, a very hungry yeperenye and a dear Easter Bilby that could. We've made delicious feasts in our play kitchen, built towers and gnome homes with our blocks, pushed the little wheelbarrows in the Cassia Garden with all our might, climbed the low branches of the mulberry tree and said many excited hellos to the guinea pigs. We've shared laughter, parenting ideas and many feelings big and small. What a wonderful start to our playgroup year indeed!

Next term there will be a Monday playgroup facilitated by the lovely Linnea. Linnea is a valued member of our school community, having worked in the office before going on maternity leave. She currently attends the Tuesday playgroup with her daughter Oliva. Welcome Linnea!

The Monday group will run in the playgroup room instead of the bush playgroup. All playgroups will still be able to use the beautiful Cassia garden for outside play. 

We hope you all have a restful break and we look forward to another nourishing term ahead.
