1/2E-Student Learning

On Tuesday afternoon 1/2EM were treated to a presentation of an information text on stick insects from a group of Year 6 students. 1/2EM have been working on writing informative texts, so it was great to see the work the Year 6s were doing. 

The Year 6 students supported their presentation with live stick insects, they have been caring for and observing in class. The 1/2s were so excited to have the opportunity to view them up close and some were even able to hold them. 

This was a wonderful learning experience for all involved; the Year 6 students showed leadership and kindness in supporting the younger students.
