Principal's News

Dear Parents & Carers,

It’s hard to believe but the end of Term 1 is upon us.

Term 1 will finish on Thursday March 28th at 2:25pm. Children will receive a hot dog and a drink for lunch on this day as well.

We will be conducting our Athletic Sports for Grades Foundation to Two here at school between 11:45am and 1:15pm on Thursday so all of these children will need to wear their Sports Uniform to school on Thursday.  Parents and grandparents are all welcome to attend.

All other children are invited to wear Casual Clothes on Thursday and bring a Gold Coin donation to go towards our Project Compassion appeal.

I hope all families can enjoy some time together away from the routines that school life brings and all enjoy good health to make the most of this upcoming break.

School will resume on Monday, April 15th.

HARMONY DAY I missed our Harmony Day celebrations this year as I was at an excellent Principals Conference at the end of last week. I am reliably informed that it was a fantastic day. It started as always with a wonderful Mass led by Fr Michael before the children’s excellent participation in some really worthwhile and SPECTACULAR Harmony Day activities back at school. The photographic evidence is something to behold!

SCHOOL UNIFORM Last chance to claim any missing items from our “Lost Property” box. Admin staff have sorted the unnamed items into sizes and are very keen to find the owners. If you have lost something please come and have a look. Whatever is left will be donated to St Vincent de Paul.

RIDE TO SCHOOL DAY Thank you to everyone that supported last week’s ride to school day. There are a few extra bikes and scooters in the rack this week as well. All drivers are reminded that this is a school zone with a permanent limit of 40km/h. We all know kids can be unpredictable road users and need to remain vigilant around schools particularly.
