Student Wellbeing

Our Year 2 students have been doing some wonderful work during Wellbeing time! They have explored the concepts of 'Growth Mindset' and the 'Power of Yet'. These concepts help us understand that there are things we are really good at and things that we aren't so good at...YET! Sometimes it takes practice to help us get better at things and it's all part of learning. These concepts help us appreciate our strengths. 2EN also made a wonderful display to celebrate Harmony Day where the students' handprints represented what it means to them. Well done, Year 2' s!

If you would like to practice gratitude at home, we have attached an activity below. Working on gratitude helps us to be thankful and appreciate what we have in our lives, rather than focusing on what we don’t have or what we want. Practising gratitude every day increases our levels of energy, helps us to feel happier and more focused, determined and optimistic. It even helps us have a better sleep, lowers levels of anxiety and depression and we are less likely to get sick. So many benefits – let’s all try to be grateful for the things we can do, things we have and people in our lives every day!

We hope everyone has a safe and restful Easter break.
