Coolibah Dynamic Assessment
The Coolibah Dynamic Assessment Program for the Year 3 students across the Diocese will commence in Term 2 and 3. All participating schools will be contacted by their allocated Coolibah Dynamic Assessment Assessors with permission notes and dates in the next few weeks
Wii Gaay
On Tuesday, 26th March, the class of Wii Gaay 2024 will engage in an online session meeting new students, staff and learning more about the program in readiness for next term on line mentoring program and the exciting learning hub later this year.
All Wii Gaay program AEA’s and students are encouraged to check for zoom session information later this week.

The Guwaa - Li (talk) Project
The Yuga- li Yulu gi (Celebrate dance) workshops.
Last Friday the Tamworth and surrounding schools gathered as part of the Yuga- Li Yulu-gi (celebrate dance) workshop at McCarthy Catholic College, Tamworth as part of the Dance ensemble for Conference in October.
A total of 70 students were blessed with a smoking ceremony and an intense cultural dancing workshop under the cultural guidance of Cr Marc Sunderland and the Gomeroi Academy’s Athol and Rubin.
Thank you to McCarthy Catholic College for hosting our gathering, Gomeroi Academy and the wonderful staff and students for a fantastic day.
The CSNSW Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Education Conference Message Stick Journey
On Sunday 17th March, St Mary’s Catholic Church - Walgett warmly welcomed and celebrate the CSNSW Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Education Message Stick as part of it’s journey across our Diocese Parishes and School communities in readiness to host the NSW Catholic School Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Education Conference: “Spirit on Country: Learning Together, then, now & always” .
Traditionally Message Stick were used to communicate important messages of gathering, seasons, law, and customs across many different language groups.
Today our CSNSW Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Education Conference Message Stick conveys a special message of gathering to share the importance of learning together in faith, culture and education with our communities.
