CAPA in the Armidale Diocese

In 2018, the Catholic Schools Office introduced support for the Creative and Performing Arts grant program to all our primary and secondary schools.

A reminder that there is no closing date for these funding applications.

Schools are encouraged to look at the CAPA in the Armidale Diocese website or contact Heidi Hardaker if interested in finding out more information. Examples of how schools in our Diocese have used this funding can also be found on the website.

HSC Rural & Remote Marking Program

The HSC Rural and Remote Marking Program

The HSC Rural and Remote Marking Program (RRMP) is a joint program run by the Department of Education (DoE), Catholic Schools NSW (CSNSW) and the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA). Applications are available from 7 March 2024 to 21 March 2024.

The program is designed to give rural and remote teachers the opportunity to participate in marking the Higher School Certificate (HSC). The RRMP is a valuable professional development activity, and allows teachers to gain knowledge, skills and understanding about the marking process.

Further details are contained in the  Rural and Remote Marking Program Handbook 2024

Road Safety

On Friday 22nd March, communities across the nation will come together to promote safe and sustainable transportation options. This day presents a wonderful opportunity for schools to emphasise the importance of road safety and healthy habits while commuting to and from school.
