In Foundation...

We had a fantastic end to Term 1! Foundation participated in the Easter parade, showing off some very creative Easter bonnets they had made themselves.

We also ended term 1 by visiting the Bayswater Train Park and had a great time with our friends celebrating a successful first term of school!

Foundation students brought in a special item from home that was important to their family as a part of our Inquiry unit. They spoke to the class about why it is important to their family and answered some questions that the class had.

We spent the last week of Term 1 revising our sounds and digraphs learnt throughout the term, as well as practising writing words that contained these sounds.

We also learnt about the place value behind teen numbers and revised some of our number skills!
