Fun events ahead next term!
In term 2 we have lots of great events ahead, keep an eye out for more information and opportunities to get involved and volunteer.
The PA events in term two will be:
- Kids disco
- Mother’s Day stall
- Subway lunch order day
- Cookie dough fundraiser

Welcome back to school for term 2 and we hope everyone had a fun, relaxing and safe school holidays.
The PA is busy planning great events for term 2 starting with the Subway lunch order day on Monday 29th April. Orders are now closed and we look forward to delivering a special delicious lunch to your children on that day!
Mother’s Day Stall – Wednesday 8th May
It’s nearly time for our annual Mother’s Day stall where students will have the opportunity to bring up to $10 per child and purchase a small present for their Mum or special person in their life.
We would like to invite volunteers from the whole school community to come along for part of the day to help serve the students who visit in class groups to make their purchases. Volunteering on the stall provides a lovely opportunity to see our children carefully consider their gift choices and practice their maths and money handling skills. All parents, guardians, grandparents, aunts and uncles are welcome and need to hold a Working with Children check.
The stall runs from 9am – 4pm and we are looking for helpers to fill the following time slots:
8am (Setup)
9am – 11am,
11.20am – 12:50pm,
2:00pm – 3:30pm and
3:30pm – 4pm (Final sales and packup)

Upcoming events for term 2 and beyond!
Cookier Dough Fundraiser
Later this term we will be organising a cookie dough fundraiser launching on Monday 13th May, more information about this yummy opportunity coming soon.
School Disco
We are running a disco for the kids (during school hours) on Friday 14th June with year levels participating across the day. An opportunity for all the kids to have some fun with their friends and dance up a storm to keep warm as the days get a bit chillier!
Colour Run
Save the date for another fun HEPS colour run! On Wednesday 27th November we will once again have an active and colourful afternoon! More information to come, including some fun opportunities to volunteer, later in the year.
