Alumnus Samantha Pennell

At our recent Year 12 Fundraising Dinner, the organisers wanted to raise funds for the James Petrie Foundation but also have open conversations about mental health and managing stress in the lead up to their exams.

Samantha Pennell from the Class of 2008, was invited along to provide tips to the attendees and discuss her varied career pathway. Samantha, the eldest of six siblings who attended BHS, left after Year 12 to pursue a Bachelor of Arts, and very quickly discovered this wasn't for her. She has since graduated with a Bachelor of Laws and is now at Victoria Police as a Police Lawyer.

Her very simple message to our students was to follow their passion. We thank Samantha for bringing such energy, positivity and great advice to such an important event.
