Welcome back to Term 3. I hope all students have had a wonderful break and have returned ready to start the new Semester fresh.

Over the holidays, the College received NAPLAN results from QCAA. Understanding that there will be interest beyond Year 7 and 9 parents in our results, please find below a snapshot of our performance.

These results show that in both Year 7 and 9 students are above state mean in all domains. Further, in Writing, both our Year 7 and Year 9 students have achieved the strongest results in the College’s history. Year 9 students have also outperformed past cohorts in Grammar and Punctuation.

Pleasingly, in most test domains, our Year 9s have grown their distance from the state mean.

We remain proud of the continued growth in our academic results and have every reason to be confident in the success of our programs.  A review of Table 5, below, shows that in Grammar and Punctuation, Writing and Reading, the College has achieved 4 or 3 years of successive growth.
