Fête de la Musique

CJC celebrates la Fête de la Musique / Music Day with the first Music Festival at school, on Friday 21st of June !

Dress Code: Sparkle and shine in white attire! You are welcome to wear your special outfit from the morning! Please ensure to have enclosed shoes for safety reasons (no sandals, no open toes), and a warm jacket. Any addition to fashion such as make up, face or hair glitters, are to be applied after school hours!

Time: Join us on Friday 21st June, from 3:30pm to 7:00pm, in the outdoor grounds. To ensure everyone's safety, all children must be accompanied by an adult. As the sun sets early, the party will be held in the front part of the outdoor grounds, where lights will be on. There will be a strict “no playground, no ball” rule during the festivities.

What to expect: An afternoon filled with music, music and more music! We are thrilled to announce not one, but two sensational music bands coming to perform just for us! After their last show at our end-of-the-year party, prepare to be amazed once again by "TIFI DEZIL'', who will be honouring us with another of their great performances! They will be followed by our very own CJC Parents band, "THE APPARENTS", who have poured countless hours of practice to surprise us with their first-ever performance! Let's rally and support them with cheers and dance moves that will set the floor on fire!

Talents Showcase: Calling all CJC stars, both adults and kids, to showcase your talent on stage! Whether you sing, play an instrument or dance, we would love to see you shine. Secure your spot by registering on the link below.

Fundraising: Indulge in the perfect pairing of music and crepes! We will be selling homemade crepes, popcorn, snacks and more delicious treats! We will also offer Bonne Maman hazelnut spread at half the retail price! Please remember to keep the jars sealed until you are safely at home to prevent allergic reactions.

Gold Coin Donation: Every contribution will go towards the renovation of our senior playground, scheduled to begin later this year. Bring your coins, and if you are feeling extra generous, notes are gladly accepted too! ;)

Volunteers:  We could not make this event possible without your support. If you are available to lend a hand with food sales, please register on the link below.

Fun Fact, Did you know? La Fête de la Musique / Music Day, was created in 1982 by the French ministry of culture to “encourage the millions of music players in France to play an instrument in the streets”. Younger and more vibrant than ever, the event is now celebrated every year on 21 June all over the world.

We can't wait to see you there, ready to dance with us!
