AusCycling Victoria are facilitating an AusBike Learn to Ride program this upcoming school holidays! 

AusBike is a world class bike education program that has been developed in conjunction with the Australian Government & the UCI governing body ensuring kids between the ages of 5 – 12 have the opportunity to be safe & confident on 2 wheels. In addition, AusBike also has 4 Gears or Levels that allow kids from all skill levels to join an amazing program that aligns with all the Cycling, MTB & BMX events you will see in the upcoming 2024 Paris Olympics!

Incursion - Grade 5/6

Dear MPS 5/6 families,

SAVE THE DATE: In some very exciting P.E news, on Monday the 22nd of July, I have locked in a Bike Education lesson with AusCycling for all the Year 5/6 students. 

This will run from 9:50am-3:30pm. Each class getting their own 50-minute session. We are encouraging all students, who are ABLE, to bring their bikes and helmets to school for the day. 

We will store them safely at school much like how Ride to School Day worked. I will of course send reminders before the day but I wanted to give you plenty of notice.
