Regional Cross Country Results

A huge congratulations to Emily H who finished 40th overall, Kitt who finished 35th, Fynn who finished 62nd, and Ryleigh who finished 19th! 

We are so incredibly proud of ALL of you. What an amazing achievement to reach such a high level. Congratulations!! The whole Monty community are so proud!

Hi! Kate here from the Marketing team at the Victorian Institute of Sport.

I wanted to reach out to say a big thank you for engaging your students in our athletes bound for the Paris Olympics and Paralympics, and for sending in all their letters! 

It’s brought athletes a lot of joy to read their words of encouragement and for many it’s made their day. We have a handful of athletics athletes who are already overseas, so some letters have already made their way to Europe where they’re being passed on by a VIS staff member. 😊

Victorian Winter State Baseball Championships

A HUGE congratulations to Jonte Duffel who has been selected to represent the Diamond Valley Junior Baseball Association at the Under 14’s Victorian Winter State Championships!  Jonte will play in Bendigo on June 29th and 30th. It's also a HUGE congratulations to Austin Duffel & Lucas Giles who have made the Under 12 side! Austin and Lucas will be playing in the tournament at Werribee in July.

Well done boys, what an incredible achievement! We are so proud of you all!

Junior School Health

The Foundation, year 1 and year 2 students have been learning about how our body responds to physical activity. We learnt that our heart beats faster, our body sweats to cool itself down, our lungs take in more air, our muscles get stronger etc. We completed a human body diagram to show all of these physical responses. 

Foundation PMP/Smart Moves 

Thank you to our amazing foundation teachers and our parent helpers who have volunteered this Term. The students have loved it! We are looking forward to yoga next Term! ⭐️
