Warning! Uniform blitz!

Some students have struggled with wearing their full winter uniform over the past few weeks of unseasonably warm May weather. However, as winter is officially under way, there are now no excuses for the inconsistent wearing of our Term Two uniform.

We expect a high standard of presentation at St George’s Anglican Grammar School and students are on notice that the correct wearing of their winter uniform will be closely monitored, with repeat transgressors being followed up as per our Uniform Policy.

Students must ensure that:

• Their shirts are tucked in at all times

• A Tie is worn at all times

• Their top button is done up at all times

• Their blazer is worn to and from school every day, worn to the Cathedral on Monday, and worn through the day if the student feels cold

• Jewellery is only that which is compliant with our Uniform Policy

They must also wear their uniform with a sense of pride – blazers pressed, skirts rolled down and at knee length, tights to be without holes and school socks to be worn if this is the choice.

A big thank you to parents for supporting us in these endeavours.

School Photographs

Recently, we learned that our 2024 school photographs provider, Academy Photography, have gone into liquidation. We are pleased to report that this will not impactour school photos for this year.

We have secured the services of locally owned Kapture Photography, who are booked on the scheduled date of Thursday, 8 August. The photographs taken on this day are the ones that are available to families for purchase, and the information about how to do this will be sent out closer to the date.

Thank you for your understanding in this regard.
