Hello everyone,
Here is the newsletter for week ten.
A reminder that the school is dismissed at 2.00pm on the last day of term Friday the 28th of June, Term three begins Monday 15 July.
Semester one school reports and parent teacher interviews
The teachers have been spending may hours preparing students reports for semester
one. The reports will be published via Compass on Friday.
We will be holding parent teacher interviews on Monday and Wednesday next week. Interviews are optional, but we encourage parents/carers to attend to discuss the reports.
You can book an interview time via Compass - Jane will send a link tomorrow.
Pumpkin extravaganza Tuesday 25 June
Next Tuesday we will be having a feast of pumpkins. In our SAKG kitchen class this week and next, we are making 4 kinds of pumpkin soup and two kinds of pumpkin scones for the whole school to enjoy at lunch time. See the SAKG page for more information.
Sport uniforms (soccer shirts)
last chance to purchase a sport short and/or shorts !!!
Due to popular demand, we are placing another sport shirt order.
The shirts can be printed with your child's name on the back with a number as per the attached pics or just a number - your choice. You can also order a shirt for yourself or other family members!
The shirts are $35- ea and the shorts $27- ea.
Payment is via Compass or at the office.
From last years’ experience, sizes equal age e.g. size 10 = 10yo. Sizes in even numbers only. If you wish to order a shirt and/or shirts, please see or email me with confirmation of what is to be written on the back and the size you require.
The final, last cut off date for orders is Monday 24 June.

Lost property
Please have a look at the collection of lost clothes that are on the front fence before the end of term. Anything left at the school holidays will be donated to charity
Bare root fruit tree fundraiser
Our bare root fruit tree fundraiser is now well under way. You still have time to order some lovely fruit trees for a productive garden. Please see the Parents and Friends page for more details of this exciting opportunity, a web link is also below

2025 Taradale Calendar
The Parents and Friends Group has had a 2025 calendar printed. The calendar is full of beautiful pictures of Taradale and lists local dates. The calendar is available for purchase from the school office for $12-. A sample copy is also available for viewing.
Breakfast Club - updated
I have now added term three dates to the roster.
We are currently running breakfast club on Thursday and Friday. If you are available on other days, please add your name to the roster. If you are unable to use the Google doc, please let me know and I can add your name.
Without the help of wonderful volunteers we are unable to run the Breakfast Club

2024 and beyond enrolments
We are now taking enrolments for 2024 Preps and other years.
Prep enrolments are due by the 26th of July inline with Government guidelines.
If you know of anyone looking to enrol at Taradale, please let them know we aren't full and that we can accept enrolments from outside the neighbourhood catchment/zone.
