Year 5

Year 5 Camp

Year 5 students went on camp to Cave Hill Creek at Raglan, near Beaufort in western Victoria, from Wednesday 5 to Friday 7 June. 

Year 5s returned exhausted but happy after three days of fun-filled activities at Cave Hill Creek. We have bonded over many games, challenges and experiences at camp and returned with a wealth of memories and newfound friendships. The students braved various outdoor adventures, including initiative games, possum glider, canoeing, and archery, which tested their physical endurance and fostered a spirit of cooperation and resilience. 

Movie night and disco night were a highlight of the camp. On movie night, we gathered in the cozy lodge with popcorn. We all enjoyed a fantastic film. Disco night was an absolute blast, with students showing off their best dance moves under colourful lights and grooving to their favourite tunes. These evenings were a perfect way to unwind and have fun after the day's exciting activities, adding even more joy to our Cave Hill Creek adventure.

We returned to school ready for a long weekend of sleeping and relaxing and sharing our fun memories at camp with our families.
