Term 2 P&F Meeting Highlights
The Term 2 P&F meeting was held in the newly refurbished Year 12 rooms, located in the ‘old’ Junior School classrooms. Delivered in a hybrid format the meeting made full use of the College’s newly installed digital communication technology. Feedback on the format and performance of the technology was very positive. Thank you to the College IT staff for their support with the meeting. We will endeavor to continue offering P&F meetings in this format to increase parent accessibility and engagement.

Condolences and prayers
On behalf of the parent community, the P&F expressed our condolences and offered our prayers to Mr Ronchetti and his family on their recent loss.
Learning and Pastoral Care
Updates were shared on improvements to the learning and pastoral care environment, reinforcing the College’s continued commitment to student wellbeing and academic support.
MMG Education Survey
The College received strong positive feedback in the recent MMG Education Survey, with over 430 parents participating. SPX parents rated the College as ‘very high’ in 5 of the 11 areas surveyed, and ‘high’ in the remaining 6, resulting in an overall satisfaction score of 79%.
NAPLAN Results
The school reported strong performance in the recent Years 5, 7, and 9 NAPLAN assessments, particularly in numeracy, highlighting continued academic excellence.
SPX Club Reports
Each SPX club provided an update on the many excellent events and activities held in Term 1 and their exciting plans for Term 2.
P&F President's report
We shared the positive feedback received following the P&F Welcome Cocktail Party along with the suggestions from parents for next year's event.
Strategic Planning
The College is engaging a consultant from the Association of Independent Schools (AIS) to support with development of a new strategic plan. Parents will be invited to contribute their perspectives as the process unfolds.
