Please note that if you have recently changed your phone number or address, could you please inform the office immediately. This is very important in case we need to contact you with regards to your child and in case of an emergency.
Our Meal Deal for Tuesday, 20th May will be:
Pepperoni or Ham & Pinapple Mini Pizzas, Jam Drop Biscuit and Drink (Popper/Water) for $8.00.
If you wish to order please place your money in an envelope with your child's name and class and give to the office by Monday, 19th May. No late orders will be accepted.
Please ensure if you have not done so already, could you please provide the school with your child's costume for capers. Below is an example of what is required. Performance dates are Friday, 7th and Saturday 8th November 2025. If you require any further information, please do not hesitate to contact the school office on 6768 7065.
In conjunction with the Walhollow Aboriginal Corporation, Walhealth will be conducting health checks on all students who identify as Aboriginal and or Torres Strait Islander on Friday, 6th June 2025. Permission notes for those students who identify have been sent home. If you are yet to return your child's note could you please do so by Monday, 2nd June to ensure that your child does not miss out. If you have any questions, or require another note, please contact the school office on 6768 7065.
If your child is suffering from a medical condition that requires the administration of medication, modification to activities or monitoring, please ensure that an updated copy of the action plan from your GP or specialist is given to the school to have on file. This is very important in case of a medical emergency so we can advise paramedics or put into place supports to ensure your child is well cared for.
We will be holding a School Assembly on Friday, 23rd May at 2:15pm. All welcome to attend.
Our students have been training for our School Cross Country that will take place this Friday, 16th May. Please ensure all students are dressed in full school sport uniform for the day. All students will participate however those students ages 8 and up will be trialed to represent Werris Creek Public School at the PSSA Quirindi Zone Cross Country on Friday, 30th May. All parents are welcome to attend and cheer on our students from 2:00pm.
