Leadership Report

Welcome to Term 2!
As we transition back into the school term, it's essential to re-establish routines that support your child's learning and development. A consistent routine helps children feel secure and ready to engage in their school activities.
Here are some key points to consider.
Consistent Bedtime and Wake-Up Time: Ensure your child gets enough sleep by setting a regular bedtime and wake-up time. This helps them feel refreshed and ready to learn.
Morning Routine: Create a morning routine that includes time for breakfast, getting dressed, and preparing school materials. This reduces stress and ensures a smooth start to the day.
Homework: Set aside a specific time each day for homework. This encourages good study habits and reinforces learning.
Regular attendance is also crucial for your child's success. Arriving on time and staying for the entire school day ensures they don't miss out on learning continuity, skill consolidation, the opportunity to develop positive peer relationships and feeling connected with the school community.
We understand that there may be challenges in getting your child to school. Our school is here to support you in overcoming these difficulties. Please touch base with your child’s teacher or make a time to chat with a member of the leadership team. Please contact Candia in the front office to schedule an appointment.
As we start Term 2, we are excited about the learning opportunities ahead. Let's work together to create a supportive environment where every student can succeed.
Thank you for your continued support of school.
We look forward to sharing more updates with you this term.
