Anzac Commemorations

When school resumed for Term 2, St Joseph’s Catholic College came together to honour the importance of ANZAC Day, a time when we pause to remember the courage, sacrifice, and enduring spirit of the Australian and New Zealand soldiers who have served our nation. Students from Year 10 Blue English, held a moving ceremony to commemorate this significant occasion, reflecting on the values of bravery, resilience, and peace that ANZAC Day represents.
In addition to our school ceremony, we were proud to have both students and staff represent St Joseph’s Catholic College at local ANZAC Day services on the day itself at Denman, Merriwa, Muswellbrook, Aberdeen, Scone, Gundy, Murrurundi and Moonan. We extend a heartfelt thank you to all the students who proudly represented our College in the wider community, showing great respect and school spirit.
