Listen to your body

Over the last two weeks, all classes have been learning to listen to their body. Our bodies give us really helpful clues about how we're feeling. We might get a headache or stiff shoulders when we're stressed, a racing heart or jelly legs when we're worried, or our bodies might "buzz" when we're excited.

We've been using the steps of:

  • I notice (what do you notice in your body or mind?)
  • I feel (what emotion are you feeling?)
  • I can (what's something you can do to help yourself feel better?)

Following these steps can help our kids (and us as adults) to listen to what our body is telling us and doing what we can to look after ourselves.
