Swimming Carnival

What a splash-tacular day it was at the Swimming Carnival!

On Monday 16 February, students from Caulfield Junior College headed to Carnegie Memorial Pool for a day filled with excitement, colour and incredible effort. Swimming proudly for their houses - Waratah (Red), Acacia (Yellow), Banksia (Blue) and Garak (Green) - students competed in 50m freestyle, backstroke, butterfly and breaststroke, giving it their all in every race.

The enthusiasm on display was outstanding. Students were well-behaved, supportive of one another and impressively sun-smart under a hot and relentless sun - a real credit to themselves and the school community. The atmosphere was buzzing with cheers, encouragement and plenty of smiling, tired faces by the end of the day.

A huge congratulations goes to the students who recorded the fastest times in their strokes and have qualified for the District Swimming Competition on Monday 23 February — what an achievement!  We wish you the very best as you represent our school.

Special thanks must also go to our amazing staff, who were friendly, well-organised, endlessly helpful and truly awesome throughout the day. Your support ensured the carnival ran smoothly and safely for everyone involved.

Despite the heat, the day was fun, memorable and full of school spirit — and judging by how well everyone slept that night, it was a job well done all round!
