🌱 Small steps in the right direction can turn out to be the biggest step of your life 🌱
What a wonderful journey it has been! From visiting our Prep kinders last year, to welcoming students and families during Step into Prep program to completing the initial Prep assessments, and finally meeting our teachers -our Prep students have taken many exciting steps into their school life here at CJC.
We are so proud of how confidently our students have settled in and grateful to our families and staff for working together to make this transition such a positive and enjoyable experience for everyone.

Our Prep team comes from all around the world, bringing with them a variety of experiences, stories, and smiles!

Our Learning So Far
So far in Prep, students have been learning new sounds as part of our Structured Literacy program. They have shown wonderful engagement, enthusiasm, and participation as they begin their learning journey.
We’ve captured a few special moments from the week to share with you.

Prep families, thank you for your ongoing support -we truly appreciate working in partnership with you.
As part of the Health and Physical Education curriculum, students from Grade 5 and 6 are participated in a water safety program at Hampton Beach today.
Life Saving Victoria’s Lifesaving Education Program supports students in working towards the Victorian Water Safety Certificate (VWSC), which all students are encouraged to achieve by the end of primary school.
To obtain this certificate, students must demonstrate competency in the following areas:
Water safety knowledge
Swimming skills
Underwater skills
Lifesaving techniques
Rescue skills
Survival sequence
The program made quite a splash — in all the right ways — and was a fantastic success! Thank you to all involved.
