Art Space

Hi All,

Congratulations to everyone for a really smooth start to our Arts Program. Students have come with big smiles on their faces and have been ready to learn.

This past week we have revised expectations in the Art Room, discussed and demonstrated how our Values look in the Art Room and talked about other procedures to assist all students to have a safe, enjoyable, creative, learning experience this year. 

During the year students will be involved in Visual Arts which may include drawing, painting, printing, textiles, modelling, collage and craft. The Performing Arts covers Music, Dance, Drama & Media Arts. 

A reminder to all parents to please send along a labelled Arts Smock (which can be an old shirt etc) with your child. Sometimes Art can be messy and an extra layer over your child's school uniform is always a great idea. Art Smocks are to be kept in your child's classroom.
