ASC Basketball Teams Reach the Grand Finals

Congratulations to the following ASC Basketball teams who have made it to the Grand Final of the Willetton Basketball Junior Domestic Competition. Below, you'll find the details regarding match dates and times. We encourage all members of the College community to come along and support our teams. Let's make our presence felt in the stands!

ASC Football (Soccer) Program

All Saints’ College SHPE Department is pleased to continue our ASC Football (soccer) program opportunity for students wanting to join a team in Term 4.

 

After feedback from our recent involvement in the Futsal competition at Strikers in Terms 2 and 3, we have decided to enter a more prestigious competition.

 

For the upcoming summer season (starting in Term 4) we will be joining the JB 6-a-Side soccer competition, held at Tompkins Park, Alfred Cove. The competition starts on 26 October and will run for 13 weeks, plus a Finals and Gala day. This program is available for students from Year 3 through to Year 11.

 

Training Sessions

Teams will commit to one weekly training session at ASC with the J&J Football Academy. Days and times of training are as follows: 

  • Senior School Teams: Tuesday mornings from 7.00am–8.00am
  • Junior School Teams: Tuesday afternoons from 3.30pm–4.30pm, or Thursday mornings from 7.00am–8.00am.

Matches

Matches are played on Thursday afternoons at Tompkins Park during Term 4 2023 and Term 1 2024.

 

Registration

  • Existing players: Where possible and where DOB permits, we will try to keep existing teams together. All players interested in joining must complete the registration form below.
  • New Players: Please express your interest either as a team (minimum 6 additional names provided) or as an individual looking for a team. If you express your interest as an individual but later would like to nominate friends to play with, this can be catered for. Even if you are registering a team, all players must submit the registration form.

Please submit your registration form by 20 August. Each team requires one parent to be the Team Manager. The manager will be in charge of team communication and equipment provided by ASC. Team Managers are required to start a chat with team members for communication purposes. 

 

Players will be formed into teams based on their DOB/Year Group if numbers permit.

 

Fees for Summer 2023-2024 Season

ASC is passing on the exact cost of what JB 6-a-side charge and ASC will subsidise any additional costs for this program such as equipment, trophies, training shirts and socks. The costs listed below are per player, per season, depending on the age category of the player. We will communicate how to pay for the fees in due course but in the meantime, please register via the link above.

 

Fees for age group Under 8 (born 2015) to Under 11 (born 2012) will be $245.

 

Fees for age group Under 12 (born 2011) to Under  (born 2012) will be $245.

ASC Basketball Club – Seeking New Coaches for Summer 2023-2024 Season

 

ASC Basketball Club is always on the hunt for coaches to join our great community.

If you have a passion for basketball and working with young people, we want to hear from you.

 

Coaching involves at least a one-hour training session per week and one game per week during the season.

 

The upcoming summer season will run through Term 4 2023 and Term 1 2024, with a seven week break over the Christmas holidays.
