Jump Rope for Heart

At the end of the program St Mary's Primary School finished on the following numbers;

  • 57 Students registered
  • $3,286 Raised
  • 50 Hours of skipping logged.

These Funds will go a long way at the Heart Foundation. Helping to fund:

  • Research on heart disease and how we can work towards preventing it,
  • Doctors who can help treat people with sick hearts, and
  • Education, so Australians know how to take care of their hearts and bodies.

Even though St Mary's has finished Jump Rope for Heart 2023, I hope you all continue to practice your skipping and exercise your heart every day. By doing this, you continue to be a Heart Hero and help the Heart Foundation achieve our goal of a heart disease-free Australia.

Rugby Gala Day

Last Friday the Grade 5/6s went to Kooyong Oval to go and play some rugby against other schools. We had tackle and tag teams. They both did an amazing job. But the best thing

about this whole experience was definitely the DJ His name is Benny and he hosted a dance competition for all the schools. It was a great way to have some fun and dance with your friends. There was also a relay race against the schools at lunchtime. Everyone played a minimum of three games. We had one girls' tag team, one girls' tackle team, one boys' tag team and one boys' tackle team. Everyone had a great time and hopefully, it’s just

as fun next year.
