Religious Education

Our next School Mass is at 12.00 on Tuesday 24th October. Please feel free to join us if you would like to attend.

 

The Sacrament of Reconciliation is Wednesday 8th November at midday. The children have been preparing for this during their RE classes.  A Parent Information Night is scheduled for Monday 16th October at 7pm in the MPR. This night will be run by Fr Elio Capra. This is a parent and child evening that will run for one hour.  Please contact Kerry Slater if you are unable to attend.

 

By tradition, the Catholic Church dedicates each month of the year to a certaindevotion. The month of October is dedicated to the holy Rosary, as the Feast of OurLady of the Rosary falls on October 7th. There are special rosary beads which guideyou when you’re saying the Rosary.The Rosary is a group of prayers that we pray to give praise to God through Mary.The Rosary is a type of meditation. We take time to be like Mary and think about how we can be of service to others through compassion, love, and peace.

 

October is World Mission Month and also one of the two months devoted to Mary, in particular,in October, Mary and the Rosary.
