Holy Spirit Fete

2023 PROFITS RAISED

The Fete Committee held their Final 2023 Meeting on Tuesday 24 October.  We all agreed that this year’s Fete had an amazing turnout and support from our community this year was tremendous! 

The total PROFIT raised was $70,662.87!! 

Monies have been disbursed to the School & Parish which plans to utilise the fund are already in progress! These improvements will help benefit the school, Parish and wider community.

2024 Committee 

We have some members who will be continuing and some members that are stepping back.  Whilst we cannot thank every single people we would like to recognise the Committee for their efforts all year in making the Fete happen.

Adam Stone & Katherine Harbor are stepping down from their roles each with over 15 years on committee.  Kerry Childs is also stepping back after 8 years on committee.

Whilst they will all continue to be part of our Fete Community, we need new members to fill their amazing shoes! Thank you again for your many years of service!

Paul De Iulio, Belle Godfrey, Nicolle Tilley and Sharon Wolff are the only continuing members with Lauren Cefai (P & F President) assisting the team.

Peter Philp needs an Audio Support and experienced technicians to help for next year and step up to take over his role as he moves into retirement.

Photography & Socials

Belinda Lee Photography was again the official photographer for the event. We have started to share her images. There are lots of videos from the day already on our Instagram to check them out.

Join the Committee!

The Fete Committee MUST HAVE NEW members join this year otherwise it cannot go ahead in 2024. It is such a rewarding experience but we have to share the workload!

Having been previously been made up of current and past school parents and members of the wider Holy Spirit Parish community without incoming members there is not the manpower to survive.

Key members have retired and many are stepping down this year so we are on the search. This year’s Fete only went ahead due to the tenacity, dedication and massive efforts made by current committee members.

Year Level Leaders/Coordinators

Each Year Level is assigned a Stall that they will be responsible for next year. It was great to see so many people giving their time to help sort and set up. 

It is appreciated that each family provide at least 2 hours each year to help volunteer either for P&F events, Fete set up or pack down days, the week leading up to Fete or on Fete day.

Qu. Can I choose which stall I want to help with next year?

Of course! You can sign up to work on a particular stall or if you want to be a Stall Leader please contact us.

Advertising runs March through to February the following year.  It’s a perfect tax deduction so check with your accountant! Thank you for the support received over the years from our families and community.
