P&F Update
P&F Committee meeting – all welcome!
Our next P&F Committee meeting will be held on Tuesday 31 Oct at 7.30pm in the P&F room (across from the church). All interested parents and friends of Holy Spirit school (including incoming Prep parents) are welcome to come along and hear about our exciting plans for 2024!
Grandparents Day - Monday 30 October
We are looking for some hands to help us with our Grandparents Morning Tea on Monday 30th October.
If you are unable to help on the day, you could assist by bringing a plate of food for our Grandparents Morning Tea. (Either homemade or store bought is fine).
We request no items that require heating or refrigeration.

Scholastic Book Fair- Sunday 29th – Tuesday 31 October
Can you spare some time to help set up or run the Book Fair? We have a range of volunteer times available on Sunday 29th, Monday 30th and Tuesday 31st October.
Times we require assistance are....
- Setup - Sunday 3pm to 4.30pm
- Book Fair Volunteers - Monday 10am to 12pm/ Tuesday 8.30am to 9.30am/ Tuesday 2pm to 4pm

Second-hand uniform shop – Wednesday 1 Nov 2.50pm-3.20pm
The second-hand uniform shop will be open on Wednesday 1 November from 2.50pm-3.20pm. Please note, we are no longer accepting donations of grey shorts or white shirts. We will still sell existing stock of these items until 2024.
ATTENTION: NEW PREPS for 2024!
We will be holding an extra Second-hand Uniform Shop session on Tuesday 14th November at 11.40am-12.10pm. The Uniform Shop is held in the P&F room across from the Church/hall.
Holy Spirit Helping Hands – can you spare 10mins?
We are still keen to hear from any parents who would like to join Holy Spirit Helping Hands. Some examples of the types of jobs for Helping Hands:
- Sort the lost property box (any time)
- Sort clothes for the second-hand uniform shop (during uniform shop sessions – 30mins)
- Sell icy poles on Fridays (30mins)
- Help cook sausages at our end of year Food Day (2-3 hours)
- Set-up and run the Book Fair (from 1 hour)

Remember: NO meetings and NO pressure to help out all the time.
Icy poles are back!
Icy poles will be sold after school on Friday on the front lawn area for $1.

- Friday 27th October - World Teachers Day

- Tuesday 31st October - P&F Meeting, 7.30pm in the P&F room – all welcome!
- Wednesday 1st November - Uniform Shop
- Wednesday 15th November – TERM 4 FOOD DAY - BBQ for students provided by P&F
- Tuesday 28th November - P&F AGM and final meeting
- Friday 1st December – last curriculum day of the year. Volunteers provide morning tea for staff.
- Wednesday 6th December - Uniform Shop
