School References for Year 12 Students

Due Monday 29 October

Each year, leaving students have the opportunity to request a reference from Friends'. A reference is an important document that can be used to support residential college, scholarship and job applications.

To streamline the process and ensure all students have equal access, reference requests must be made by students via the form emailed by Kate Baldry on the Monday 2 September. Student references are completed by their tutor with input from up to three teachers who are well placed to comment. The form will be closed on Monday 29 October. Note that this process is the only way students are able to request an official school reference from Friends' school staff

Please be in touch with Kate Baldry, Amy Harris, Adam Chambers or your child’s tutor if you would like any more information about the process.

PAT Testing

Tuesday 21 October

Year 9 students will be completing their PAT Reading test during Opportunity Block next Tuesday 21 October. This provides important data to help inform our teaching and learning programs.
